1st International Conference on Infrastructure Failures and Consequences (ICIFC 2014)

16–20 July 2014

The conference examined infrastructure failures and their consequences. Published papers addressed bridge failure mechanisms under extreme floods, wind design of tall buildings, and structural model updating using field-test data, examining infrastructure safety through hazard effects, structural response and damage identification.

Participation in the 1st International Conference on Infrastructure Failures and Consequences (ICIFC) on 16–20 July 2014 was in the capacity of a member of the International Scientific Committee. The conference was hosted by RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.

  • Bridge failure mechanisms under extreme floods
  • Wind design of tall buildings
  • Bayesian structural model updating and experimental verification
  • Infrastructure damage and safety assessment
