ASCE Engineering Mechanics Institute International Conference 2018 (EMI 2018)

2–4 November 2018

The conference presented advances in engineering mechanics for civil engineering and related fields, bringing together experiments, theoretical modeling and numerical computation. Technical sessions covered multiscale material behavior, structural damage and fracture, nonlinear stochastic dynamics, uncertainty quantification and reliability, computer vision-based monitoring, and fluid–structure interaction.

Two group members, including Heng Zhang, attended the 2018 Engineering Mechanics Institute International Conference on 2–4 November 2018. The conference was organized by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and hosted by Tongji University.

  • Multiscale material behavior, damage and fracture
