7th World Conference on Structural Control and Monitoring

22–24 July 2018

The congress brought together research on structural control and health monitoring, spanning theory, sensing technologies and engineering applications, including infrastructure life prediction and maintenance. Technical sessions addressed system identification, bridge and high-speed railway monitoring, advanced vibration mitigation devices, computer vision, wireless sensing and data analysis.

Two group members, including Hui Chen, attended the 7th World Conference on Structural Control and Monitoring in Qingdao on 22–24 July 2018 and presented in a conference session. The conference was hosted by Harbin Institute of Technology and co-hosted by Qingdao University of Technology and Bridge magazine.

  • Structural system identification and damage monitoring
  • Advanced vibration mitigation devices and control
  • Health monitoring of bridges and high-speed railways
  • Sensing, computer vision and data analysis
