ISRERM 2022 explored theories, methods and interdisciplinary applications in reliability engineering and risk management, including opportunities for analysis and decision making enabled by digital technologies. Its programme included a mini-symposium on stochastic finite elements and model updating, alongside discussions of health monitoring, resilience and design under uncertainty.

The group participated online in the 8th International Symposium on Reliability Engineering and Risk Management (ISRERM 2022), held in Hannover, Germany, on 4–7 September 2022. The group organized a mini-symposium and chaired its presentations. Group members delivered four conference presentations in total.
