Academician Yeong-Bin Yang visits and presents new intelligent mobile bridge inspection techniques

On 25 June 2016, Academician Yeong-Bin Yang visited by invitation and delivered a presentation entitled “New techniques for intelligent mobile bridge inspection”.

Academician Yeong-Bin Yang has long conducted research in structural engineering with mechanics at its core. His principal interests include nonlinear structural theory and applications, the dynamics of high-speed railway bridges and its applications, and methods for analyzing train-induced wave propagation.

His research places particular emphasis on finite element methods, static and dynamic bridge analysis, high-speed railway vibration and engineering education.
